Face It

My brother is a Amature movie maker of sorts. He's been making them since he was 12, I usta play staring roles, film them and all that jazz but in the last few years I have ceased to have any contribution. Not on purpose, just cause I couldn't be bothered. When he said he was making a new movie (the 2nd part to his previous movie 'The Face' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rdvr_Jp6Eo&feature=channel_page) I decided I wanted to be apart of this one for ol' time sake.
Although I only played a minor part It turned out good. The movie will be out later this year. But for now check out the teaser for it(he specialises in blood and gore, so be warned):

R.I.P

(note: making the move to a new blog so bookmark or check out that one instead of this one; http://bmhcphotography.blogspot.com/)
Went to a sweet show on sunday. An all covers show with Time Will Tell, Ten Paces, Worlds Apart, Had It & Ill Brigade. Was a fun show, pretty much just the bands playing covers of the bands that they grew up with and admire and were influenced by. Also Ill filled us in on the history of each band behinde the song they covered. Was a good Show.
Also R.I.P to Verse, Glad to see em before they broke up last week.

Here are some pix from the covers show:

Promotional

I did some promos on sunday for a local band called We Stand Alone (http://profile.myspace.com/westandalonetheband). Had fun, wanted to try out some new things and actually go to location instead of being up prepared.
Also got paid which is also always good. Was a bit shit cause I lost one of my cheap arse romote triggers, but now I FIANLLY have a job at a local pub i can afford to buy better and bigger.
(Im slowly making the change to a new Blog, so check it out! http://bmhcphotography.blogspot.com/)
Anyway here are a few of my favs out of the bunch:

Photos, Photos, Photos

Although this is a late post, it dosen't change the fact that my weekend was quite a hectic one, with many many photos taken. Hence why it has taken so long to post anything. Anyway Ill begin with my friday night. I went to A Shinto Katana show in Blacktown, it was Jack Napier's 2nd last show and with risk of missing their last I wanted to go. Because in a sense I grew up with Jack Napier as a band, Althought thier line up is nearly totally different from when I first saw them.
Also We Stand Alone were opening for the show and they had asked me to do their promos on sunday so I went to check em out too.
It was an all round alright right show. Here are my Fav Pix
The rest of the pix from the weekend will be published in seperate posts.
Im also moving over to a new blog. Check it out.

Australia Day

(I Am Slowly Making The Change to another Blog site cause...its better, i will be posting on both for awhile but check out and book mark http://bmhcphotography.blogspot.com/)
Australia Day isn't usually a thing a celebrate, not because im un-patriotic or anything, but I just didn't realise it was something to celebrate. So for my 'celebration' me and my girlfriend Deanne deceided to go camping as the weather had been nice and hot and dry the last week. So after arriving at the campsite to the sound of JJJ's hottest 100 we set everything up and went for a swim. After returning to the campsite we couldn't help but notice nearly everyone had left.
And then soon enough we were the only ones left in the campsite.
Not bothering to wonder why we continued to chill and cook marshmellows and noodels. But it didn't take much longer to realise why, it began to rain. after retreating to our tent it continued to rain the whole night. The next day waking to a flooded tent.
Wasn't the best of Australia/Post Australia Days but was stilll it totality a good time.
Also on the weekend went for a really chilled skate with my friend Tom, it was good times and found some cool places. Didn't take much snaps but was good.
This weekends shaping up to be an alright one, seeing Shinto Katanan who I haven't seen in ages and I also hear it's Jack Napier's last show, so check it out at Blacktown this friday. And my good friend from Flatline Drama, AJ is having a Birthday partywhich should b sick times ahead.

Here are a few Camp Shots:

And A couple Of Shots from my City Skate, Non of actual skating but this dude was amazing. He was a 'Professional' Busker. Travelling the world busking, all income from Busking. What A life.

And this is just some strange thing I found amusing. Dairy Products Gone Bad???

A Hot Summer

This is gettin fuckin hotter every day, and i live in the mountains, so i feel bad for those city folk. Anyway its currently day 20 something of job search and i have had no luck despite handing resumes everywhere and appling to 5 different places on line. So i went to centre link to find help and now i have piles of forms to fill out.
ahh well
Also went to Boys of Summer on Monday night which was fuckin awsome. was really keen to see Comeback kid and Verse which was good. Carpathian also put on a good show for thier first song before Lloyd the gtarist Popped out his leg, laying on the ground at the end of the opening song screaming at the top of his voice at the sky. The Ambo was called and after about a half hour wait they arrived and he was taken away by which time i had to go. So not many photos of Carpthian this time.

Also im slowing thinking of changing to a different blog site as it is....better check it out http://bmhcphotography.blogspot.com/ ill be posting on both for a while.

Anyway here are some pix from the show

Record

Recently decided one saturday that i hadn't seen my good friends from Flatline Drama (http://www.myspace.com/flatlinedrama) in a long fuckin time, So i called AJ from the band and asked wat he was doin the next day. And it happened that they were recording a new song soon to be in Blunt Magazine. So i went down to Electric Sun Studios with the rest of the dudes for a day of recording.
Had heaps of fun, took some casual recording snaps, got some practice for the tattoo expo im shooting in march and did some promos for thier bit in Blunt Magazine. Also helped with some gang vocals for the track and took some Hartly(http://www.hartleyphoto.net/), 'Stay True' Album-type shots and watched the Comeback Kid video which got my siked for seeing them at the Boyz Of Summer Show that was on monday night.
Any way here are some of my favs from recording

And here are the tatt shot practice

And Promos, I used an attachment Fisheye on some of em which was shit because it distorts the edges.
